Il nuovo album di Robert Plant, “Carry Fire” è pubblicato dalla Nonesuch/Warner Bros. Records. “Carry Fire”, il suo undicesimo album solista e il primo dall’acclamato “lullaby and... The Ceaseless Roar” del 2014, è stato prodotto da Plant tra Inghilterra e Galles, resistrato agli studi Top Cat a Box, nello Wiltshire con ulteriori registrazioni agli studi Real World e Rockfield studios. Come in “lullaby…”, Plant è accompagnato da The Sensational Space Shifters: Justin Adams alla chitarra elettrica e acustica, oud, E-bow quartet, percussioni, rullante, tamburello; John Baggott alle tastiere, moog, loops, percussioni, batteria, arrangiamenti di fiati, t'bal, rullante, slide guitar, piano, piano elettrico, bendir; Billy Fuller al basso, tastiere, e drum programming; Dave Smith al bendir, tamburello, djembe, percussioni; e Liam "Skin" Tyson alla chitarra dobro, chitarra acustica, pedal steel e acustica 12-corde. A Plant e agli Space Shifters si uniscono alcuni ospiti importanti: Chrissie Hynde nel duetto "Bluebirds Over The Mountain" (scritta dalla leggenda del rockabilly Ersel Hickey e già registrata sia da Richie Valens sia dai Beach Boys); il violoncellista albanese Redi Hasa, che ai aggiunge alla band in tre brani come pure il famoso Seth Lakeman alla viola e al violino.
